Our teams prioritise local talent, valuing existing know-how and developing industrial skills in the regions where we operate. Our ambition: to professionalise the entire value chain, from mining to finishing trades.
CO-CREATING VALUE WITH LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS
GAÏA NOVA invests in projects that aim to strengthen local economic inclusion.
In line with our Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), we implement Income-Generating Activities (IGAs) for communities living near our site. Guided by our QHSE unit, these actions create local economic opportunities while ensuring a responsible, long-term dialogue with our social environment.
REFORESTATION & BIODIVERSITY
GAÏA NOVA is proud to contribute to the national reforestation programme each year.
Every year, between 20,000 and 40,000 saplings are distributed and planted, with particular attention paid to native and vulnerable species. This environmental action helps restore ecosystems, support biodiversity, and raise awareness about preserving our natural heritage.
